Tanzania Railways Corporation and Tanzania Zambia Railway are state-owned railway operators. Therefore it proved difficult taking pictures on their premises. After some negotiations I was allowed to photograph abandoned locomotives and the Tazara main building. A better photographer’s permit may be obtained next week. Hopefully these images will be the preview to a series to follow.
